The Max-inator

This is a art project from ninth grade so it is several years old (It was perhaps 2000-2001). We were told to cut a peice of paper randomly then try to construct something out of it (like Escher). Mine ended up reminding me of Max, from "Where the Wild Things Are". We were to copy the shape so it filled all the space on this peice of paper. I fit sixteen figures on the page. I alternated the facial expression, with the four in the middle sleeping and the outside changing so no two of the same expression touched. I alternated the colors as well.

Unfortunitly I was only able to scan about 3/4ths of the actual artwork. If I ever get my hands on a digital camera I shall take a picture of it fully.
